Fall Solar Interference

Dates: October 4th through October 12th
Duration: Noon to 4:00 PM
Services Affected: TV

Twice a year we experience solar interference in the afternoon on random TV channels. We will be in that solar interference phase between 10/4 and 10/12. For a little over a week every fall and spring, all TV providers experience solar interference due to our location in our journey around the sun. It will cause spotty signal and complete outages on random channels, but really only affects us during the peak hours of noon - 4pm. Here is a graphic:
